About us

Wendleberrie House is owned and operated by the Featherstone Family and managed by their eldest son Kieron.

With over 30 years of experience, we pride ourselves on offering a warm, friendly, homely environment and treat our residents as part of our extended family.

We offer long term care, as well as respite care, as we understand that carers need a break too. Our care is tailored to the individual needs of the resident and reviewed frequently through care plans of which residents and their relatives are encouraged to provide their input.

Wendleberrie House is registered with the Care Quality Commission to provide personal care with accommodation for 15 residents, of either sex, by reason of: old age (OP), dementia (DE) and mental health (MD). Please click here to read previous inspection reports.

Our friendly, caring, experienced staff are all fully trained and attend regular training courses to keep them up to date with the best practice procedures. We have a low staff turnover, so staff and residents alike get to know one another well.

Visitors are always welcome and are offered refreshments during their visit, and can even take the opportunity to enjoy a meal with their loved one.
